Dream and reality give battle to each other. Pushing back the frontier of dream, of reality, continually, always further. Gaining ground, extending and defending the area, the area of welfare. Civil War keeps the fire going.In 2001, nearby Perpignan, 5 pals decide to take up arms. The fight is hard, the rhythm of practices is accelarating. Composing becomes more and more demanding and requires lots of hours. Some of the warriors leave the frontline and relieving soldiers join in Civil War in 2005. Our reality : Compositions, in english and in french. An E.P :"Ignition" released in 2005, from which one song was chosen by French Metal to be part of their "compilation 2006". A self-produced album : "Watch your back" in december 2007, 80 concerts of which a lot of local scenes with Bullshit inc., Séquoia,...and unforgettable openings for bands such as : Elysian Field, Federal, Minor Majority, Nashville Pussy, Louise Attaque, Sidi Larsen, Texture, Spinning Black Circle, Aaron, DobaCaracol, Kaolin, Hushpuppies , Kill The Young. In 2009, Civil War released "Like Brothers" a wonderfull album really nicely written by Colin. After this release full of great criticals, the band took a 2 years break to change 80% the line up. 2012 : Strongest with this new line up Civil war started to hit the stage ground again and they are currently recording a new album. We hope a release end of year.
